I am a designer and engineer, excited about creating meaningful designs. I also have an education in
Woodworking and love creating one-off designpieces.
Equally, I'm a seaman who worked many seasons in the Stockholm archipelago but also sailed across the
Atlantic.
During my master's, I have focused on meaningful and sustainable design. It has also been important for me to develop my design language and working methods, which I have done by completing 30 ECTS at HDK - Valand. The courses included Digital 3D Tools in Creative Processes (3D scanning, AI, AR/VR, CNC milling, 3D printing, etc.) and Photography.
A 2-year artistic education focused on design and craftsmanship, which complemented my studies at Chalmers. It allowed me to actively engage with materials and further develop my design language, bridging the gap between theory and hands-on creation.
The program focuses on user-centered design and product development from multiple perspectives. It combines design knowledge, such as form theory, cognitive ergonomics, and UX, with engineering skills in manufacturing and construction.
One year eduaction in crafts, altering between different materials and techniques. I worked with ceramics, textiles, graphic art, wood, metal and more. The education was a great way to get a feel for different materials and to spark my inspiration.
